Veterans Outreach Committee

The mission of this committee is to reach out to the Veterans who live in Stanfordville and find ways to provide services to them.  We hope to involve students as well as members of The American Legion and any volunteers who wish to connect with our Veterans.  The board recently appointed Anne Liebling as Veterans Outreach/Affairs liaison, and we would love for additional committee members to join her.

In broader Dutchess County news, Beth-Anne Canero, USMC, (RET). has a new position as the Veteran Outreach Coordinator for Dutchess County.  As a former Marine who served in Iraq, she is very passionate about helping our veterans make use of the many services they are entitled to.  Her job is to actively reach out to our them, provide education on all that is available, and then guide them through the process of obtaining them. The Recreation Commission will help facilitate a gathering space either at Town Hall or the Rec Pavillion for group meetings.  If there is anyone, especially veterans, who would like to work with her, you can contact her at [email protected]
