Winter Storm Warning & Countywide Travel Ban

Dutchess County is under a Winter Storm Warning, with 12–24 inches of snow forecast between Sunday and Monday.

A State of Emergency has been declared by County Executive Sue Serino, including a countywide Travel Ban on all roadways in effect from 5:00 a.m. Sunday through 5:00 p.m. Monday. Residents are urged to avoid travel unless absolutely necessary.

Additional Updates:

  • Dutchess County Public Transit is cancelled Sunday and Monday
  • Dutchess County Parks are closed Sunday and Monday
  • Dutchess County Government offices, including Office for the Aging Friendship Centers, are closed Monday, January 26
